ROOM V – Palazzuolo sul Senio

This room display items that exemplify aspects of every day life inside the castles. The small exhibits in the central showcase, including bottoms of glasses, needles, thimbles, silverware, buckles, and coins, provide a glimpse of the lifestyle inside the fortified walls.

The collection of pottery continues in the wall display cases showing a rather complex composition indicative of the commerce of ceramic products throughout this area of the Appennines between the late Middle Ages and the Modern Age.

The panel in this room shows this medieval and Renaissance pottery within the context of the production and movement of ceramic ware from the 14th to the 18th century.
